What is the relationship between your research essay and your MMT? Compare the rhetorical situation of each.

My research essay and MMT are based on the same information, but they communicate it in very different ways. The main difference is in how each one presents the content. The rhetorical situations are similar, but the audience, genre, and purpose set them apart. For the essay, the audience and purpose were mostly academic, aimed at my professor, and focused on a detailed historiography of the World Trade Center. On the other hand, the MMT was designed for a more general audience like tourists, making the information concise and visually engaging so it’s easier for them people to understand. While the essay was formal and in-depth, the MMT’s brochure format made the content more approachable and appealing to a broader audience.
